These terms apply when you access or use winenot.co.nz. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. The site is a winery and wine-tourism directory intended primarily for adults. It is not an online alcohol retailer.

Directory information

Winenot lists wineries and wine-country experiences across New Zealand. We work to keep listings useful and accurate, but winery hours, bookings, menus, events, access, prices and availability can change. Please check directly with the winery before making travel plans.

Map locations

Some map pins are exact and some show only a general regional location until a winery has been checked or claimed. An approximate pin must not be used as a navigation destination. Directions links are provided for convenience and rely on third-party map services.

External links

Winenot links to winery websites, social profiles, booking pages and third-party services. Any booking, purchase, refund, delivery or other transaction takes place between you and the relevant winery or provider. Winenot does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, privacy or availability of external sites.

Winery listings

Winery owners and authorised representatives may ask us to claim, update or remove listing details. We may edit submitted content for clarity, accuracy, formatting and consistency with the directory.

Paid placements

Enhanced listings, advertising, sponsored content, campaign placements or priority positions may be paid or provided as part of a commercial arrangement. Content controlled by an advertiser is clearly identified as "Sponsored", "Paid placement" or another equally clear advertising label where its commercial nature would not otherwise be obvious. A subscription badge identifies the winery's plan or founding status but is not used as the sole disclosure for advertiser-controlled content. Paid participation is not an independent endorsement or guarantee of quality. Winery subscriptions are also subject to the Winery Listing Terms, and campaigns are subject to the Advertising Policy.

Content and intellectual property

Winenot's original text, design, branding and software are owned by Winenot or its licensors. Winery names, logos, photographs and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. You may browse and share links to the site for personal or legitimate business purposes, but must not reproduce or commercially exploit substantial site content without permission.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, submit false or misleading information, scrape it at scale, or use it in a way that infringes the rights of others.

No professional advice

Information on Winenot is general directory and tourism information. It is not legal, financial, health, safety, travel or professional advice. Drink responsibly, follow New Zealand alcohol and driving laws, and independently check accessibility, transport, weather and booking requirements.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, change, suspend or withdraw website features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Material changes to these terms will be published here with a revised date; changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted paid order unless agreed or legally required.

Liability and statutory rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Winenot is not liable for losses caused by reliance on outdated third-party listing information, an approximate map location, an external provider, or website unavailability outside our reasonable control. Where liability can lawfully be limited, Winenot's liability is limited to reasonably foreseeable direct loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Fair Trading Act 1986, Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Privacy Act 2020. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. The courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
